Harlen Branham, 79, Crestline, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 6, 2015 at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.
Harlen was born in Grayson, KY on March 19, 1935 to the late Andy and Dorothy (Justice) Branham. He married Sally J. Russell on February 10, 1962 and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2008.
In 2000 Harlen retired from Moyer’s Auto Wrecking, Crestline with 43 years of service. Harlen enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening. Harlen and Sally loved traveling, especially to Tennessee. He was very proud of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cindy Hoffman, Crestline, Cathy Branham and John Barler, Galion and his son Kenny Branham, Crestline. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Chad (Danelle) Branham, Ian Hoffman (Abigail Bartholomew), Dustin Hoffman and Harley Jo Barler, four great grandchildren, Alison, Noah, Jacob and Alivia. He is also survived by two brothers, Harold and Opal Branham, Milford, Dennis and Stella Branham, Milford, four sisters, Lois and Chuck Collins, Milford, Grace Branan, Hamilton, Eileen and Dennis Goodin, Edgewater, FL, and Brenda and Roger Ackerman, Marengo, a sister-in-law, Gayle Branham, Columbus and a brother-in-law, Charles Toops, Columbus, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John “Homer” Branham, a sister, Christine Toops, and an infant sister, Jewell Branham.
Friends may call Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 West Main Street, Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline with Rev. Scott Buell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
