Diane M. Burton, 67, of Lexington, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, January 30, 2015, following a lengthy illness.
Diane was born on July 31, 1947, in Mansfield, to James W. and Virginia E. (Booze) Burton. She was a graduate of Mansfield Sr. High and attended Grace Brethren Church. Diane loved her family, and loved children. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her. She also loved her church and her Saviour.
She is survived by two brothers, Jim (Barbara) Burton of Mansfield and Timothy D. (Nicole) Burton of Columbus; two half-siblings, Annie Wilson and Robert Crane both of England; eight nieces and nephews, Justin (Diana) Burton, Jerrod (Jessica) Burton , Kelley (Robert) Burton, Scott (Andrea) Burton, Tim Burton, Richard Burton, Amber Burton, and Heather Burton; and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; two nieces and one nephew.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Mansfield Memorial Park.
