Kenneth E. “Ken” Lucas, 65, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
Ken was born on January 29, 1949 in Mansfield to Kenneth Russell and Esther Muussen Lucas. He was an avid car collector and started the Mansfield GTO Club which he ran from 1978-1985. Ken loved gardening and planting trees. He enjoyed produce auctions where he would fill the bed of his truck with items purchased there.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Blaising Lucas, whom he married at Marblehead Lighthouse on May 19, 2003; three sisters-in- law, Shirley Bauer, Joyce (John) McKenzie and Barb ( Ed) Perry, all of Crestline; and several nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Lucas.
Calling hours will be on Monday, January 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Werner Gompf Funeral Services LTD, 1106 Park Avenue East, (ST RT 430 East) Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev James Cosby officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
