Shelby Cancer Care receives donation

SHELBY, Ohio–OhioHealth MedCentral Shelby Hospital’s Shelby Cancer Care was a recipient of a $1,647 donation from Mike Zappa, owner of Lorain Music and Vending Company, and Bob Kramer, owner of Phil’s Place in Shelby.

Last October, Zappa covered six pool tables in pink felt throughout his customer base to raise awareness for breast cancer. Two of the pink pool tables were in Phil’s Place. The tables were used by pub patrons to raise money to fight cancer.
