LEXINGTON, Ohio—Janice Williams of Hire Family Foundation presented Brenda Wilson, director of the Lexington Senior Civic Center, with a check in the amount of $9,950 on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
The money will go toward the purchase of a new dishwasher at the Lexington Senior Center, also known as “The Depot.”
The Hire Family Foundation is a nonprofit entity located in Lexington. The organization benefits philanthropy, voluntarism and grant-making foundations, focusing specifically on private, independent foundations.
The Lexington Senior Civic Center is a nonprofit organization that provides education, health screenings, nutrition, information, referrals, transportation and entertainment for seniors. Seniors may attend any function at the center if they are age 55 or older. Seniors who are 60 and over may be provided transportation and meals on wheels.
