Chanelle E. Brown, 43, of Mansfield died Tuesday morning, Dec. 16, 2014 in the Cleveland Clinic after a six week illness. She was born Jan. 3, 1971 in Dayton and is the daughter of Roy O. and Holly J. (Veach) Thomas of Lucas. She had lived in the Mansfield area all of her life and was a 1989 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School. Chanelle was a cashier with the Volunteers of America Store in Mansfield and enjoyed reading and collecting red apple figurines. She was a member of the VFW of Mansfield.
Chanelle is survived by her parents, Holly and Roy Thomas of Lucas, her husband, Richard W. Brown of Ashland; 2 sons: Brandon J. Bruner of Ft. Lewis, WA and Cody J. Bruner of Mansfield; 1 brother: Neil (Ginger) Thomas of Thorn Bay, AK and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 20 at 2:30 PM in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with Pastor Phil Green officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville at a later date. Friends may call one hour prior to services, 1:30 – 2:30 on Saturday in the funeral home.
