Rhonda L. Simmering Parman

Rhonda L. Simmering Parman, 51, of Mansfield, died December 11, 2014. Born Mach 2, 1963 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Carolyn F. (Hall) Simmering. Rhonda graduated from Lexington High School in 1981 and went on to work for Hi-Stat. She also worked as a nurses aid for a long time as well as for “Mr. P’s”, which was owned by close family friends. Rhonda also worked for her father’s general contracting business, R. L. Simmering Builders. While working with her dad, she helped on numerous projects at Bay Point Campground and Marina where she made lasting friendships.

Rhonda was all about helping her family and friends in any way she could. She was the type of lady that would make you laugh as soon as she walked into the room. Rhonda loved her bike groups and riding with them in her free time. She also enjoyed fishing, especially for Perch and spending time with family and friends at Bay Point. Rhonda’s family loved her unconditionally and she will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughters, Alicia (Trent) Ousley of Powell and Alexis Maffett of Mansfield; grandchildren, Tyler, Lauren, Carolyn “Carly”, and Riley France, and Jaylin and Jordan Maffett; parents, Bob and Carolyn Simmering of Mansfield; brother, Tony (Linda) Simmering of Mansfield; nephews, Tyler, Travis, and Todd Simmering; special aunt, Chloeann Mahan of Mansfield; several other aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Petroff family, Butch and Cindy Davidson, and Kelly Lyon; and boyfriend, Tolby Mitchell.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m., conducted by Rev. Paul Larson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
