Kathryn Ann Sellers

Kathryn Ann Sellers, 83, of Loudonville, died Monday evening, November 24, 2014 in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville following an extended illness. 

Kathryn was born July 1, 1931 in Cavello in Coshocton County, the daughter of the late Bruce and Elizabeth (Strickler) Gaumer. She was a resident of Loudonville most of her life and a member of First Baptist Church. Kathryn was active as a Sundayschool teacher, helping with funeral dinners, and as a member of the Missionary Society of her church.  She was a former den leader for the Cub Scouts and Girls Scouts. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, James R. Sellers, whom she married June 9, 1948.  Jim died Oct. 13, 2011 after 63 years of marriage.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Tom) Thompson of Loudonville; 3 sons: Gary (Sheila) Sellers of Lexington, Merrill Sellers of Groveport, and Jim (Lauri) Sellers of Galena; 8 grandchildren: Staci (Mick) Fry, Erik (Danielle)Thompson, Ryan (Christine) Thompson, Kristin (Addam) Kudla, Lindsay (John) Campoeletti, Danny Sellers, Gabriel Sellers, and Lydia Sellers; and 4 great-grandchildren: Garett Fry, Sydney Fry, Nori Thompson, and Henry Thompson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister, Ava Gaumer, and 4 brothers:  Kenneth, Keith, Benjamin, and Dale Gaumer.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Loudonville with Rev. John Fitch officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville.
