Frank Gordon has been named the new St. Peter’s High School grades 7-12 Athletic Director, effective July 1.
Gordon has coached basketball and tennis for St. Peter’s for the last several years. He has also served as elementary and junior high athletic director and as assistant to outgoing high school Athletic Director Tim Failor for the past two years. His experience and knowledge of the programs allows him to hit the ground running and will serve St. Peter’s well.
Gordon, a 1983 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School, said that he is anxious to get started, loves sports, and loves St. Peter’s.
Retiring Principal Tressa Reith says, “Naming Frank Gordon athletic director for St. Peter’s High School and Junior High is one of the last duties I will perform before my service to St. Peter’s ends on June 30. We were blessed for all 22 of my years at St. Peter’s with fine, hardworking role models in our athletic office. Mr. Pat Maurer served as our A.D. from 1992 through 2007. Mr. Tim Failor followed and served St. Peter’s until now. The legacy of solid role models whose priority is what’s best for kids continues with this choice of Frank Gordon to lead St. Peter’s athletics into the future.”
