The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has released its weekly construction report to warn travelers of possible delays during the week of June 9.
Ashland County
State Route 58
SR 58, between Township Road 673 and County Road 601, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 58 to State Route 302; east on SR 302 to State Route 89; north on SR 89 to SR 58; and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen June 30, 2014.
State Route 603
SR 603, from Franklin Church Road in Richland County to the State Route 39, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete on August 31, 2014.
• SR 603 is reduced to one lane of traffic just north of the Ashland railway tracks in Milton Township for bridge repairs. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with a temporary traffic signal.
Crawford County
State Route 61/State Route 309
SR 61/SR 309 (Portland Way South) from Harding Way to Grove Avenue in the City of Galion is closed for southbound traffic as part of the rehabilitation and widening project. Northbound traffic is reduced to a one-way street. Traffic use Harding Way, State Route 18 and State Route 288 as alternate routes. The project is expected to be complete in November 2014.
Richland County
SR 13 Closure -Update
State Route 13, just north of Honeycreek Road in Jefferson Township, will close Monday, June 16 for a culvert replacement.
The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 13 to State Route 546, north on SR 546 to US Route 42, north on US 42 to State Route 97, east on SR 97 to SR 13, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on June 20, 2014.
US Route 42
US 42, one-quarter-mile south of Kings Corners Road in Troy Township, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a bridge replacement project. One lane of two-way traffic is being maintained with a temporary traffic signal through August 2014.
State Route 95
SR 95, 0.3 mile south of Armstrong Road in Worthington Township, will close Monday, June 9 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 95 to State Route 13, north on SR 13 to State Route 97, east on SR 97 to SR 95, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on June 13, 2014.
State Route 181
SR 181, between the eastern corporation limit of Crestline to State Route 309, is reduced to one lane of traffic as part of an upcoming chip seal project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in July 2014.
State Route 430
SR 430 (Park Avenue East), from North Street to the Interstate 71 overpass, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete on July 31, 2014.
State Route 603
SR 603, from Franklin Church Road to the State Route 39 in Ashland County, is restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers at all times. The project is expected to be complete on August 31, 2014.
