Tamara S. Keene, age 46, resident of Plymouth, died Monday, May 26, 2014 in Crestwood Care Center.

Born May 6, 1968 in Victorville, California to Luther and Sandi (Evans) Rogers she had been a Shiloh-Plymouth area resident for the past 17 years. She was formerly employed with Mack’s Grocery in Plymouth, Packaging Insights and Duke & Duchess in Shelby. She was a former member of the Shelby American Legion Post #326 and T.J.’s Hotel.

Tamara enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and her dogs. Her favorite holiday was Halloween which she always looked forward to celebrating. She was a very generous person who was always willing to help others.

She is survived by her children, Amber Keene (Brandon Gayheart) of Shelby, James Keene of Milan, OH, Heather Keene (Kyle Branham) of Mansfield and Bradley Beck of Plymouth; four grandchildren, Conner, Chloe and Cooper Gayheart and Alexiana Branham; her mother, Sandi Rogers of Shelby and one sister, Alison Rogers and special nephew Robbie Penrod both of Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Rogers, her son, Timothy Dean Beck II; one grandson, Isaiah Guy James Keene, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 29, 2014 in Oakland Cemetery, with Pastor Ivan Beatty officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
