The Ohio State University at Mansfield and North Central State College are currently looking for a pair of coaches to lead the Mansfield Mavericks volleyball and men’s basketball programs for the upcoming collegiate seasons.

The Mansfield Mavericks compete in the 11-team Ohio Regional Campus Conference. The Mavericks have two ORCC State Runner-Up banners in men’s basketball and one in women’s volleyball since their inaugural season in 2005.

The men’s basketball coaching position pays $5,000 and the volleyball position pays $3,500. Coaches will be required to supervise summer activities such as open gyms and conditioning workouts.

These positions lead a comprehensive collegiate sports program open to Ohio State Mansfield and North Central State College students.

Other sports offered at the campus include men’s soccer, women’s basketball, cheerleading and baseball. The teams compete in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference along with Miami University Hamilton, Miami University Middletown, The Ohio State University at Lima, The Ohio State University at Newark, Ohio University Chillicothe, Ohio University Eastern, Ohio University Lancaster, Ohio University Zanesville, University of Akron Wayne, and Wright State University Lake.

The conference yields a regular season division champion as well as a state tournament champion at the end of each season. Home games are held in the Campus Recreation Center and are open to the public. Schedules can be found on the Department of Athletics and Recreation Website at mansfield.osu.edu/crc/.
