Blair F. Myers, age 84, resident of Shelby died Sunday May 18, 2014 at his home.
Born December 12, 1929 in Millersburg, Ohio to Blair F. and Hazel (Henkel) Myers he had been a Shelby resident since the 1990’s. He was a twenty year veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean and Vietnam War. He was employed in maintenance with a security company in Tennessee. Blair enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived by one son, Stanley (Becki) Myers, of Shelby; two daughters, Lois Forward of Aurora, Minnesota and Lynn Bridgewater, of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchlidren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was precceded in death by his wife, Daisey Myers and one brother, Thomas Myers.
Private burial services will be held in Oakland Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby is assisting the family with arrangements.
