The Appleseed Youth Soccer Association season came to an end over the weekend with the AYSA Championship games at MT Fields.

There were some close games including a U8 Boys B 7-5 shootout game between Clear Fork and Lexington. The game was tied 3-3 and ended up being 7-5 after Clear Fork dominated in the shootout. Clear Fork also won in the U10 Girls A, U11 Boys A and U15 Girls divisions.

There were also close games between New Mansfield and Madison (U12 Boys) and between Mansfield Flames and Lexington (U11 Girls). Both games ended in a 1-0 score with New Mansfield and Mansfield Flames coming out on top.

Lexington also had a great weekend with wins in the U9 Boys A, U11 Boys B, U12 Girls A and U13/14 Boys divisions. The Madison Rams won three divisions, while Ashland, Mansfield Flames, New Mansfield and Spartans won two divisions each. Ontario, Liederkranz and Lucas were all able to pick up a win in one division.

This was a great season for all leagues and there were some great games over the weekend. Parents, athletes and coaches should all be very proud of the hard work they have put in over the season.
