Main Street Books has announced an author reading and signing with novelist and Ohio native Katrina Kittle on Friday, April 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Katrina Kittle is the author of four books for adults: “Traveling Light,” “Two Truths and a Lie,” “The Kindness of Strangers,” and “The Blessings of the Animals.” Her first “tween” novel, “Reasons to Be Happy,” was published in 2011. “The Kindness of Strangers” was the winner of the 2006 Great Lakes Book Award for Fiction. “The Blessings of the Animals” was an Indie Next pick and chosen by the Women’s National Book Association as one of ten Great Group Reads for National Book Group Month (October 2010).
Kittle teaches creative writing workshops from the third grade to retirement communities and has also worked as a children’s theatre director, a costumer, a veterinary assistant, and a house cleaner. To learn more about Kittle, visit www.katrinakittle.com.
The reading and signing will be followed by the monthly literary open mic, Book Loft, Lit. This event occurs every first Friday at 8 p.m. The BLL is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) and BYOW (Bring Your Original Work). Writers and readers alike are encouraged to mix, mingle, and share with the group of like-minded lovers of the written word.
