Rozella “Rosie” J. Trease, 80, of Mansfield, OH died February 27, 2014. Born April 9, 1933 in Perrysville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Geneva (Zody) Crawford. Rosie enjoyed going to hot rod car shows with her husband, Chuck. She collected figurines, Red Heads, and Cherished Teddy’s. In her free time, Rosie was an avid reader and enjoyed word puzzles. She had worked for Lumberman’s and went on to work for Prudential for nearly 40 years.
Surviving are her sister, Betty (Bob) Hostler of Ashland; nieces and nephews, Lori Lynn (Mark) Brumenschenkel, Stacey Ann (Yves) Gauthier, Roberta Jo (Craig) Young, Tyler James (Krista) Crall, and Betsy Lynn (Brent) Moore; great nieces and nephews, Amanda Brumenschenkel, Eric Brumenschenkel, Rebecca Fisher Madelaine Gauthier, Jacques Gauthier, Joe Gauthier, Sara Crall, Nick Crall, Nathan (Jackie) Moore and Andrew (Courtney) Moore; and great great nephews and niece, Micah Emeaghara, Aiden James Moore, and Rayna Avery Moore.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” C. Trease; sister, Shirley Ann Crawford, and parents.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday, March 3, 2014 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Christopher R. Thomas, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Union Cemetery in Perrysville.
