Mechanics Bank has announced the ground breaking for its Clear Fork banking office, which will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. Located at 65 Main Street in Bellville, the new office marks the eighth Mechanics Bank office in Richland County and the third new office in five years. Mechanics extends a public invitation for anyone who would like to attend.
President Deborah M. Schenk referred to the new office as “an exciting time to expand our presence into the Clear Fork area. It’s our hope this office is an added convenience for our existing customers, and will provide others a reason to try The Mechanics Way. We are the only independent, community bank in the area, and we understand that’s meaningful to the Clear Fork community.”
The interior design will be similar to the more recent Trimble Road office. According to Schenk, it will offer an inviting, open and customer-friendly space. The new office will feature “teller pods” to allow barrier-free communication with customers. The customer-employee interactions will be supported by the safest and most efficient processing technology.
Mechanics Bank is Richland County’s only independent, community bank with seven locations currently in Richland County.
