A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. this morning for north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio. The National Weather Service in Cleveland, at 6:41 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, reported that some freezing rain or freezing drizzle may occur this morning before it changes over to rain.
Low pressure will move up through northwest Ohio today. Until that happens snow will occur early this morning and then switch over to rain as temperatures warm overhead. In the switch over to rain some freezing rain or freezing drizzle may occur until the temperatures at the surface warm above freezing.
Local counties impacted include Ashland, Crawford, Knox, and Richland.
