The Richland County Organization for Disaster Assistance (CODA), in conjunction with First Call 2-1-1, provides emotional, financial and spiritual support, replacement of items damaged by floods, and continuing recovery assistance to residents affected by the flood. CODA may be reached at (419) 522-4636.
The American Red Cross Richland County Chapter also provides disaster relief services and may be reached at (419) 524-0311.
Shelby Helpline Ministries, which offers community support and spiritual assistance, can be reached by calling (419) 347-6307.
“There are many local organizations that stand ready to offer disaster relief services and support for those who might be affected,” Rep. Romanchuk said. “It’s important to be aware of these organizations ahead of time so that you can easily find assistance when it is needed. In addition, those who have had issues with flooding in the past should take necessary precautions to protect their property.”
Residents of Richland County who are in need of assistance are welcome to contact Rep. Romanchuk’s office directly by calling (614) 466-5802 or Rep02@ohiohouse.gov.
