Area nonprofit leaders are invited to attend a grant writing workshop sponsored by Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
Designed specifically to assist leaders of nonprofit groups, grant writing expert Deborah Vrabel will focus on the art of grant writing, as well as provide practical tips and resources. She will discuss how organizations can become more “grant ready” and efficient in responding to new funding opportunities.
In addition, a similar workshop will be held that morning from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for educational leaders. This session will help school personnel find and apply for federal, state and foundation grants.
Both workshops will be held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center at 890 West Fourth Street in Mansfield. Cost is $10 per person and light snacks are included. Register online at www.moesc.net.
