Vasanth Kumar, M.D., is MedCentral’s new Pain Specialist.
Dr Kumar is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of chronic pain. He sees patients on an out-patient basis as well as performs injections and interventional procedures for pain control.
Since 2004, Dr. Kumar worked as a Pain Medicine consultant in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to that, he practiced briefly in Marion and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Kumar completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, TX in 2000. He also completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 2001.
Dr. Kumar will begin full time Dec. 2 at 39 Wood Street in Mansfield. His office staff is scheduling appointments for him now at 419-526-8888.
