The METRICH Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant on Nov. 22 at 1190 Hull Rd. Mansfield after receiving several complaints of drug-related activity there.

As a result of the drug investigation, METRICH detectives drafted a search warrant which was signed by the Honorable Judge Ardis. The search warrant was executed at approximately 4:54 p.m.

During the search, detectives located Oxycodone pills, an assortment of other prescription medications in pill bottles not belonging to the target of the investigation, and $875 in cash.

Daniel L. Brannon, 38, was arrested and charged with two counts of Drug Trafficking and one count of Possession of Drugs. He was incarcerated at the Richland County Jail pending his appearance in court. Other felony charges will be presented to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
