Shelby’s Schwemley, Clear Fork’s Labaki headline area picks to All-NW District team
SHELBY — Eve Schwemley was rewarded for helping Shelby win its sixth consecutive Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference crown. A 5-foot-7 junior, Schwemley was selected to the All-Northwest District first team in Division II. She averaged 14.1 points and 2.8 steals per game for the Whippets (18-6, 13-1).

SHELBY — It was déjà vu all over again when the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference girls basketball team was announced. Shelby’s Eve Schwemley and Clear Fork’s Annika Labaki were two of the four repeat members on the six-player All-MOAC first team. District tournaments await area’s top wrestlers
MANSFIELD — Wrestling’s second season began last week, but things will get really interesting this weekend. District tournaments around the state begin Friday and culminate when state berths are determined Saturday afternoon. The top four finishers in each weight division at the district tournaments qualify for the state tournament.
