Dale L. Garrison, age 88 of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 7, 1937, in Mansfield to the late Raymond and Alice (Mattison) Garrison, and on May 31, 1991, he married his beloved wife, Rosie “Susie” (Ewing).
Dale worked for General Motors for over 34 years, and after his retirement, he went on to work for his previous church, Community Baptist Bible, helping with maintenance and driving bus on their monthly trips. Most recently, he attended Mission Point Church with his wife for 18 years.
One of Dale’s most notable hobbies was tearing things apart and rebuilding them differently, such as turning a snowmobile into a four-wheeler, and he had a true talent for it. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes, and he was always quick to help his kids out whenever they needed him. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Susie Garrison; his children Christine Rosbourgh, Dale Garrison, and David Garrison; his niece Debbie King; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his past wife Barbara Garrison, his parents Raymond and Alice, his brother Larry Garrison, and his nephew Robert Garrison.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Mission Point Church, 54 E. Cook Rd., Mansfield. Services will take place at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Jordan Smant officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Point Church.
