Thomas R. Pickens, 70, of Crestline, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home.
He was born April 27, 1946, in Mansfield, Ohio.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic most of his life. Tom enjoyed fishing, woodworking and home remodeling.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Pritchett) Pickens; daughter, Candy Horton; grandchildren, Jaya Horton, Chado Horton and Deven Holman; four great-grandchildren, Bently Horton, Major Horton, Ricky Castle and Baby Castle; two sisters, Pat and Bea; a half-sister, Wanda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Thomas Pickens and Virginia Vess Pickens; a brother, Bob; a sister, Betty; a half-brother, Raymond; and a half-sister, Jessie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
