James “Jim” Denig passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 62.
Jim was born in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Wanda Emmer Denig on August 20, 1963.
Jim was a graduate of Malabar High School and The Ohio State University. Jim was currently employed as a supervisor at a major distribution center in Aurora. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Otilia. Jim followed the Cleveland Browns and greatly enjoyed watching The Ohio State football games while drinking a cold Bud Light.
Jim will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Otilia and his daughter, Demi Joslin; his sister, Barbara Fairchild; brothers-in-law Ernst Hoffaess and Dennis Cochran; sister-in-law Marilyn Denig, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him greatly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Joseph Denig, Patricia Hofsaess, Mary Beth Cochran, John Denig, and Wanda Them, and his brother-in-law, Ken Fairchild.
