Paul Eddie Goin, age 88, peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1937, in Plymouth, Ohio, to the late Everett and Emma (Bradshaw) Goin.

Paul married his beloved wife, Mary (Branam) Goin, on April 6, 1957, beginning a partnership rooted in love, devotion, and unwavering companionship. Together, they shared 68 years of treasured memories, building a life rich in family, laughter, and enduring affection.

Paul lived life with a passion that resonated with everyone fortunate enough to know him. He delighted in playing pool, fishing, and collecting eagles-not merely as hobbies, but as reflections of his vibrant and adventurous spirit. His love for fast, elegant cars mirrored his zest for life, while his warm, approachable nature made him a friend to all. Paul carried himself with integrity, never hesitating to apologize when he felt he was wrong and always striving to do what was right.

Central to Paul’s life was his love for God and his devotion to his church family. His generosity, kindness, and genuine heart left an indelible mark on those around him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Left to cherish Paul’s memory are his wife, Mary Goin; his children, Debra (Richard) Fultz of Kentucky, Cathy Groves of Vancouver, Washington, and Lisa Beam of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Christina, Sunshine, Shawn, Crystal, Michelle, Shane, Tony, Cathy, and Eli; and his siblings, Sam (Sharon) Goin of Bucyrus, Mary Prince of Bucyrus, Marilyn Russell of Kentucky, and Violet (Eddie) Hammon of Carrothers.

Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two infant sons, Paul Eddie Jr. and Tony Edward, and by his siblings: Floyd Goin, Ray Goin, Bob Goin, EmmaJean Brown, Charles Goin, Cecil Goin, Everett Goin Jr., Naomi Brown, Erma Blair, Jane Brown, Esther Loftes, and Marie Goin.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gompf Funeral Service – Galion Chapel. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Nathan Hale, with burial to take place at Crawford County Memory Gardens.
