MANSFIELD — Altrusa International, Inc. of Mansfield will be presenting its 7th annual “Spring Bash” at the Richland County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 4 with musical entertainment, a meal, and silent auction.
All money raised at this event supports the local community service projects. Organizers are hoping businesses will consider being a sponsor for this event. Altrusa is a designated a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation. All contributions are tax deductible.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $25 to $1,000 with company recognition given the night of the event and also in the program booklet.
Tickets are $25 and the event will take place at Fairhaven Hall.
Literacy is and has always been Altrusa’s primary focus. Through its main project, “Tools For Schools” the organization works with local teachers, who request school supplies for those in need within the community.
The project is entering its 13th year. During the 2015-2016 school year and well over 100,000 school supplies went to 37 public, private/charter schools plus the Mansfield Schools SAFE program.
In addition, Altrusa has awarded grants to Mansfield and Madison Adult Education for student scholarships, assisted the Dewald Center in various literacy-based programs, and recently added the Renaissance Theater and the Richland Academy School of Excellence as new projects.
All community service projects depend on successful fund-raising efforts. A vital part of the Spring Bash involves the silent auction where Altrusa creates and offers gift baskets.
Any donations or gift cards for this aspect of our fundraiser would be greatly appreciated, along with any sponsorships you would deem appropriate.
