Linda Marie (Bowling) Hagerman, born on December 30, 1954, in Brookline, Massachusetts, to her parents Raymond and Virginia (Burt) Bowling, was reunited with her 4-legged partners in crime, Fluffy, Shelbie, Austyn, Smokey, and Kailey, on July 16, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family.
After working many years at MedCentral Mansfield, she retired in May of 2025 from Mansfield City Schools as a dearly beloved bus aide. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt, she adored her family, and you could likely find her hanging by her pool each summer, wowing the crowd with her underwater handstands. Linda made her presence known with her outward love of Christmas, her infectious laugh – often when winning in card games – and by often perusing the Hagerman property in her trusty golf cart.
She is survived by her husband James Hagerman; her brothers Roger (Laura) Bowling and John (Sheri) Bowling; her children Michael (Melissa) Hagerman, Michelle Hagerman, and Bryan (Morgan) Hagerman; and her grandchildren Tyler, Alex (Jillian), Abby (Jake), Dylan, Liam, Rosalyn, and Collin. In addition, she is survived by her nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, many friends, and her countless preschool buddies.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Bowling.
A celebration of life for our dear Ms. Linda will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 am at Open Bible Church, 1150 Rayfield Dr., Mansfield.
Memorial contributions may be made out to Mansfield City School’s S.A.F.E. program, as well as the Richland County dog shelter.
The family would like to thank everyone who has helped during Linda’s rehabilitation after all her surgeries.
