These classes will take place July 27 to 31 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Riedl Hall at The Ohio State University Mansfield.

MANSFIELD — Students with a curiosity for science and a passion for discovery are invited to dive into an unforgettable summer experience at The Ohio State University Mansfield Campus, Great Lakes Exploration STEM Camp.

Taking place July 27 to 31 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Riedl Hall, this immersive camp is open to incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders eager to explore the wonders of the Great Lakes.

Guided by Ohio State students and professors in biology, engineering, math and ecology, participants will engage in hands-on activities and develop critical STEM skills as they investigate the challenges, and environmental importance of the Great Lakes.

With the theme “Explore the planet. Discover your future.” the camp encourages young learners to think like scientists, engineers, and innovators, while fostering a deeper understanding of one of our region’s most vital natural resources.

 Dates: July 27 to 31.
 Time: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
 Location: Riedl Hall, The Ohio State University at Mansfield.
 Eligibility: Incoming 6th to 8th grade students.
 Cost: $100 per camper (includes meals and snacks).
 Capacity: Limited to 48 students.
