ONTARIO To celebrate National Teddy Bear Day, The Richland Mall Hallmark is donating proceeds from teddy bear sales Sept. 9 to 11 to the non-profit organization, The Village Network.
The Village Network provides mental and behavioral health services to youth who have been neglected and abused. The greatest focus and need in the Richland County area is treatment foster care services to provide safe family and home environments.
A Hallmark employee who is also employed by The Village Network made the connection between Amy’s Hallmark District Manager Cathy Adamescu, The Village Network’s Mansfield Foster Care Coordinator Kim Hartman, and Development Director Susan Brewer.
“Hallmark was looking for a charity they could partner with for their upcoming National Teddy Bear Day,” says Brewer.
Beyond teddy bear sales, The Village Network and Hallmark will also have a coloring and activities station for children shopping with their parents.
