SHELBY — The First Lutheran Church of Shelby is resuming its monthly community dinners.
A ham dinner is set for Tuesday, April 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the church social hall in downtown Shelby.
The church had hosted a free monthly dinner for the Shelby community until COVID.
Monthly dinners will now be held every month on the fourth Tuesday and are open to all beginning April 22. The April 22 menu consists of ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans and apple pie.
Freewill donations are accepted and carry-outs are also available.
There is no need to call ahead for that service. The church social hall is handicapped accessible as well.
If anyone would like to volunteer to assist, contact Mrs. Gaye Shira at the church office, (419)-347-7675.
The church is located at 33 Broadway St. in downtown Shelby. All are welcome and invited to share in the food and fellowship of this free community event.
