The National Weather Service in Cleveland issued an updated Wind Chill Advisory at 3:21 a.m. for Lucas, Wood, Hancock, Seneca, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Marion, Morrow and Knox counties. The advisory is in effect until noon today.The Richland County Sheriff’s Office issued a Level 1 Snow Emergency at 7:47 a.m.
Wind chill readings will range from -10 to -15 degrees this morning with winds from the west at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will be nearly steady between 2 and 7 above.
Exposed skin will be susceptible to frostbite. Animals should also be protected from the cold wind chills.
