James “Michael” Zornes, age 64 of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on October 26, 1960, in Phoenix City, Alabama, to the late James Lloyd and Mary (Matthews) Zornes.
Michael worked for Stoneridge Inc. for 28 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, basketball, and football, and one of his favorite teams was the Atlanta Braves.
He is survived by his brother Lloyd (Debra) Zornes and his nephews Chris and Greg Zornes.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Zornes and his sister Missy Harless.
Friends and family may gather to honor Michael’s memory on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
