Fonte Wright, 44, of Akron, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center. He was born on September 21, 1971 in Mansfield, Ohio to Jeffrey Thomas and Gloria (Wright) Thomas.
Fonte was very artistic, with drawing being one of his favorite things to do. Anytime Fonte was listening to music one always knew that Prince would be playing as that was his favorite musician. Fonte was also known for his exquisite hair cutting skills.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Guenther of Mansfield; daughter, Sasha Cortti of Sacramento, California; granddaughter, Addison; mother, Gloria Thomas of Pensacola, Florida; father, Jeffrey Thomas of Florida; sisters, Tamara Wright of Mansfield, Kasandra Wright of Gainesville, Florida, and Artavia Swanson of Pensacola, Florida; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Maryam.
The funeral service for Fonte will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S Diamond St., in Mansfield at 3 p.m. Friends and family may call from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
