GALION — The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued this week’s road work schedule and advises Crawford County drivers to plan accordingly.

Here are the local roads that will be impacted:

State Route 19

SR 19, in the City of Bucyrus between Prospect Street and Clay Street, will close Monday, July 25 for railroad crossing repair. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 19 to E. Southern Avenue, west on E. Southern Ave. to Sandusky Ave. (SR 4), north on Sandusky Ave. (SR 4) to E. Mansfield St. (Lincoln Hwy), east on E. Mansfield St. (Lincoln Hwy) to SR 19, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen July 29, 2016.

State Route 61 & 294

SR 61, from the Marion County line to the corporation limit of Galion, and SR 294, from the Wyandot County line to SR 98, is reduced to one lane of traffic for pavement repairs. One lane of traffic will be maintained with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in August 2016.
