This is a big week for youngsters in the area participating in Trick-or-Treat.

MANSFIELD — Calling all goblins and ghouls, superheroes and princesses! Spooky season is upon us and trick or treat is almost here!

Here’s the local trick or treat times you need to know.

Oct. 25

Shelby’s Marvin Memorial Library will take place Oct. 25 from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. This event will include multiple stations with candy and prizes.

Shelby YMCA Trunk or Treat will take place from Oct. 25 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Oct. 26

Sluss Realty’s Halloween Treasure Hunt takes place Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Ontario Center (formerly known as the Richland County Mall) Families are invited to participate in a Treasure Hunt anytime during the 2-hour period at their own pace. One gold coin found will be worth $500, Also enjoy a trick-or-treat walk-thru, bounce houses, inflatables and other surprises. Costumes are encouraged.

Fall Festival sponsored by the Lexington PTO. Stop by the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Oct. 26 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to experience live music, food trucks, vendors, games, a costume contest, hay ride, pie your teacher, trunk or treat and more.

Downtown Mansfield’s Monsterfield Masquerade will take place Oct. 26 from 11 AM to noon. Come in costume; local businesses will pass out candy.

Trunk or Treat at the Mansfield YMCA will take place Oct. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. There will be candy, pumpkin decorating, games, prizes, food trucks, and more. This event is held rain or shine.

Shelby citywide trick or treat will take place Oct. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ontario citywide trick or treat will take place Oct. 26, 4 to 6 p.m.

Spitzer CARnival will take place Oct. 26 from 3 to 6 p.m at Spitzer Motors of Mansfield. This free event will include music, bouncy houses, face painting, free hot dogs, food trucks and a trunk or treat decorating contest.

Plymouth will celebrate Halloween on Oct. 26. Trick or treat begins at 4 p.m. and wraps up at 6 p.m. Boo on Broadway — a free trick or treat event provided by downtown businesses — runs from 5 to 7 p.m. A glow parade will follow at 7 p.m. and the American Legion will host a costume contest at 7:15.

Shiloh village trick or treat will take place Oct. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Butler village trick or treat will take place on Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. Stop by the Worthington Fire Department afterward for hot dogs, cider and a costume contest.

Oct. 31

Bellville village trick or treat will take place Oct. 31 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The Halloween Parade will follow at 7 p.m., with a costume contest immediately after at the Bandstand.

Lucas village trick or treat will take place Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The parade will be at 7 p.m.

Mansfield city trick or treat will take place Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Lexington village trick or treat will take place night Oct. 31st from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Participating families are asked to turn on their porch light.
