RICHLAND COUNTY — Golden leaves and pumpkin spice lattes may be the most obvious harbingers of fall, but don’t forget about the season’s craft shows.
Whether you’re looking for rustic fall decor or getting an early start on your holiday shopping, there’s plenty of options in October.
The final installment of the 2024 Bellville Street Mart takes place Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the park and village green. Shop for local crafts, clothing, and handmade gifts.
Fall Craft Show at the YMCA of North Central Ohio Shelby kicks off the fall season and on Oct. 5 from 9:30 to 3 p.m.
Prairie Peddler Festival continues Oct. 5 and 6. This unique outdoor marketplace in the woods features more than 200 vendors, food stalls, live music and children’s activities.
Fall Harvest Craft & Vendors Show at New Life Church in Bellville on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be more than 60 artisans, bakers, crafters and other vendors. So there’s something for everyone. Please help Bellville Neighborhood Outreach Center keep their food pantry full by bringing a non-perishable item or two.
Autumn in the Village takes place Oct. 13 from 11 a.m .to 4 p.m. at Village Roots in Plymouth. This community-inspired gathering will feature local products and handmade products, plus a bounce house for kids, food trucks, live musical, small carnival-style games and more. This event takes place rain or shine.
The final Pickers Market of 2024 will be Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check out more than 80 vendors in an open-air country setting selling vintage, antique, salvaged, repurposed, upcycled and handmade products. Entry is $5 per car.
The Autumn Fiber Festival will take place at the Richland County Fairgrounds on Oct. 19 and 20. Parking and admission are free. Visit autumnfiberfestival.org for hours and more info.
While you’re there, stop by It’s a Fall Harvest Craft Show Y’all at the Richland County Fairgrounds Youth Hall Building. There will be a variety of vendors from food, jewelry, homemade crafts, tote bags, honey, kennel corn and pork rinds and more.
Hops & Shops: Almost the Holidays Pop-Up Market at the Phoenix runs Oct. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. Shop with local artisans and craftsmen. Find the perfect gift for your family and friends, or treat yourself. Specialty drafts, and limited cocktails will be available. In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to brewery, taproom, and warehouse spaces.
