RICHLAND COUNTY — The following criminal court cases have been resolved in Richland County Common Pleas Court in recent months.
The list is comprised of any case for which Richland Source has published as an indictment, stories which first began publishing here in February.
This will now become a monthly story.
February
— Dakota Doss, 30, received a 12-month prison sentence, consecutive to his current prison sentence, for a charge of possession of a deadly weapon while under detention. Doss was granted one day of jail credit for time already served at the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. He could be subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. The initial charge against Doss was filed July 13, 2023.
March
— Andrew Inman, 35, received a 30-month prison sentence for a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility. He also received a 12-month sentence for a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Inman’s sentences will be served concurrently and concurrent to sentences in two additional cases. He was already granted jail credit in a previous case and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. Initial charges against Inman were filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Nicholas Conley, 37, received three years of community control for a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the Mansfield Police Department crime lab. If Conley violates the terms of his community control, he’ll receive time in prison. Conley is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control. Initial charges against Conley were filed Aug. 11, 2023.
— Wesley Moore, 36, received a 12-month prison sentence, consecutive to his sentence from a separate case, for a charge of escape. Moore was granted 42 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. He could be subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. The initial charge against Moore was filed Oct. 26, 2023.
— Jason Wade, 52, received a 6-month prison sentence, consecutive to his current prison sentence, for a charge of aggravated possession of drugs. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. Wade was granted three days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. He could be subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. The initial charge against Moore was filed Nov. 27, 2023.
April
— Neil Copeland, 37, received four years of community control for three charges against him; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, possession of cocaine and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. If Copeland violates the terms of his community control, he’ll receive time in prison. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control. Initial charges against Copeland were filed Jan. 12, 2024.
— Dalton Richards, 33, received three years of community control for a charge of possession of cocaine. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. If Richards violates the terms of his community control, he’ll receive time in prison. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control. The charge against Richards was filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Timothy Oyer, 44, received a nine-month prison sentence, consecutive to his sentence in a separate case, for a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. Oyer was granted 85 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. His charge was filed was filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Ryan Addington, 35, received three years of community control for two charges; possession of a fentanyl-related compound and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. If Addington violates the terms of his community control, he’ll receive time in prison. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control. Charges against Addington were filed Jan. 12, 2024.
— Derrick Taylor, 47, received an 180-day suspended prison sentence for an amended charge of assault, a first-degree misdemeanor. His was originally charged with one count of felonious assault, filed Nov. 5, 2021. Taylor was granted 46 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO, along with being ordered to pay the due costs and fines associated with his case.
— Dyantha Stevens, 34, received a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence for two charges of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound. Stevens had two counts of possession of a fentanyl-related compound merge with her trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound charges during sentencing. She was found to be indigent as to the mandatory fine in all counts and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of her incarceration. Stevens was granted 55 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. Her charges were filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Nathan Hall, 44, received a nine-month prison sentence for a charge of theft. Originally charged with two counts of theft, Hall’s charges merged during sentencing. He was also ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to the case’s victim/business. Hall was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. His charges were filed Nov. 27, 2023.
— Tonya Stecher, 54, received three years of community control for a charge of aggravated possession of drugs. She was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. If she violates the terms of her community control, Stecher will receive time in prison. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of her community control. Charges against Stecher were filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Kristopher Taska, 44, received a six-month prison sentence for a charge of aggravated possession of drugs. He was granted 50 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his incarceration. Taska was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. His charge originated Jan. 25, 2024.
— Aaron Yeager, 33, received an 18-month prison sentence, consecutive to his current sentence from a separate case, for a charge of having weapons while under disability, including a forfeiture specification. Yeager wasn’t granted jail credit, but was previously given 12 days credit for time already served at the RCSO in a separate case. He was also ordered to one to three years of mandatory post-release control and must forfeit his firearm to the State of Ohio. Yeager’s charge originated Apr. 5, 2024.
— Teasya Pointer, 19, plead no contest to two charges; counterfeiting and theft, filed Jan. 25, 2024. Pointer’s case will remain closed pending successful completion of the Prosecutor’s Diversion Program. Pointer must also pay $650.22 in restitution to the case’s victim.
May
— Cory Griffith, 28, received four years of community control for a charge of domestic violence. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control. Griffith was originally charged Jan. 12, 2024.
— Dustin Williams, 32, was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine after being charged with attempt, a first-degree misdemeanor. Williams was originally charged with aggravated possession of drugs Jan. 25, 2024., but his charge was amended. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab.
— Danielle Limpach, 37, received two 12-month prison sentences for two charges; aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs. Her sentences will be served concurrently. Limpach wasn’t granted jail credit, but was previously given 116 days credit for time already served at the RCSO in a separate case. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of her incarceration. Limpach’s charges originated Jan. 25, 2024.
In a separate case, Limpach received a sentence of four to six years in prison on an aggravated possession of drugs charge, to be served consecutive to another sentence stemming from a separate case. She also received a concurrent 12-month sentence on a charge of possession of drugs. In this case, Limpach was ordered to 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control.
— Ronald Bays, 46, received three years of community control from a charge of theft, which originated Jan. 25, 2024. His community control is currently tolled until he’s released from a current prison sentence. Bays was also ordered to pay restitution to the case’s victim/business in the amount of $1,328.98 and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
In a separate case, Bays was ordered to three years of community control for three charges; having weapons while under disability, aggravated menacing and a forfeiture specification. He had additional charges of having weapons while under disability and a forfeiture specification dismissed. Bays’ community control is currently tolled until he’s released from prison. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control and must forfeit a firearm to the State of Ohio.
— Taylor Rhodes, was sentenced to four years of community control from two charges; trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of her community control.
— Curtis Marco Person Monie III, 51, received a two-year prison sentence on a charge of domestic violence. Two of his original charges were dismissed; felonious assault and a repeat violent offender specification. He was granted 148 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. He was ordered to one to three years of mandatory post-release control and charged $2,923.05 in restitution to the case’s victim. Charges were filed Feb. 7, 2024.
— Caleb Blevins, 24, was sentenced to five years of community control and up to five years of post-release control for a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Blevins original charges, filed Oct. 12, 2023, included importuning, but the fifth-degree felony was dismissed. He was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and must register as a Tier I Sex Offender.
— Brian Horsley, 58, received a three-year prison sentence on a charge of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, which was merged with a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound. He was granted 97 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control following completion of his incarceration. Horsley was ordered to pay $80 to MPD’s crime lab. His $5,000 drug fine was suspended, due to Horsley being indigent. Charges were originally filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Justin Burdine, 40, had two counts of theft, filed Oct. 12, 2023, dismissed — based upon inconsistent statements from the case’s victim.
— Michael Hlopick, 43, was sentenced to three years of community control — transferred to Franklin County. Hlopick’s charge, unauthorized use of a vehicle, originated Sep. 28, 2023. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control following the completion of his community control.
— Tracy Doster, 57, was sentenced to four to six years in prison, concurrent with a sentence from a separate case, for a charge of burglary. She was also sentenced to 180 days in jail for a count of theft. She was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. Doster was ordered to 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control and must pay $75 in restitution to the case’s victim/individuals. Her charges originated Jan. 25, 2024.
— Matthew Deakins, 38, was sentenced to three years of community control — transferred to Stark County and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. He must pay $454.65 in restitution to the case’s victim for his charge of trespass in a habitation, originally filed Feb. 17, 2022.
— Gary Carroll, 45, was sentenced to three years of community control for two charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and possession of cocaine. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control and must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. Carroll’s charges originated Dec. 21, 2023.
— Sherri Sweeney, 40, received a two-year prison sentence for a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, to be served concurrently with a 12-month sentence for aggravated possession of drugs. She was granted 111 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. Sweeney must pay $40 to MPD’s crime lab. Her charges were filed Dec. 21, 2023.
— James Phipps, 43, ordered to four years of community control for a charge of possession of cocaine, including a forfeiture specification — filed Dec. 21, 2023. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control and must forfeit interest in the amount of $752 to the State of Ohio.
— Ashley Brinker-Smith, 34, was sentenced to three years of community control for a charge of escape — filed Jan. 12, 2024. Brinker-Smith had an additional charge of escape dismissed. She was also ordered to one to three years of mandatory post-release control.
In a separate case, Brinker-Smith received three years of community control for possession of a fentanyl-related compound — filed April 5, 2024. A charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility was dismissed. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Ronnie Mong, 34, was sentenced to four years of community control for two charges; tampering with evidence and possession of cocaine — both filed March 6, 2024. He’s also subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— James Sparks, 54, was sentenced to six months in prison, consecutive to any sentence already being served, for a charge of violation of a protection order — filed March 6, 2024. He was granted 99 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— William Hayes, 28, was sentenced to two years in prison on a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility. He also received a 12-month sentence, to be served concurrent to his first sentence, for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. He was granted 59 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. His charges were filed Feb. 22, 2024.
— Travis Cole, 32, received a nine-month prison sentence, consecutive to any other sentence being served, for a charge of harassment with a bodily substance. Cole had a count of harassment with a bodily substance dismissed, as well as one count of assault. All charges were filed June 22, 2023. He was granted 36 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Kareem Redvine, 44, received a 12-month prison sentence, to be served concurrent with a sentence from a separate case, for a charge of possession of cocaine — filed April 5, 2024. He wasn’t granted jail credit, but was previously given 22 days credit for time already served at the RCSO in a separate case. Redvine is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Megan Garron, 27, plead no contest to a charge of possession of cocaine — filed April 5, 2024. Garron was accepted into the Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court, which transferred her case and all further proceedings to the SATC.
— Anthony Unkefer, 21, received a six-month prison sentence, consecutive to any other sentence being served, for a charge of harassment with a bodily substance — filed Jan. 12, 2024. He was granted three days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
June
— Elizabeth Eichelberger, 44, was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine for a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, which was amended from a fifth-degree felony to a first-degree misdemeanor. Her charge originated Jan. 25, 2024.
— Joshua Conley, 36, was sentenced to 30 months of community control for two charges; aggravated possession of drugs and possession of heroin. He had a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge dismissed. All charges were filed Dec. 21, 2023. Conley is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Armahd Franklin, 26, received two to three years in prison for a charge of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound. He received an additional two-year sentence for a trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound charge. Two counts of possession of a fentanyl-related compound and one count of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound merged with Franklin’s charges. He was granted four days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and ordered to 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control. Franklin was found to be indigent to mandatory fines associated with his charges — filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Mark Aldrich, 56, received three years of community control — transferred to Erie County — for two charges; aggravated possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, both filed March 10, 2020. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Darel Mitchell, 39, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for a charge of vandalism, filed Jan. 25, 2024. He was ordered to pay $1,365 in restitution to the case’s victim/business. Mitchell was granted 43 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Michael Trottman, 35, received a six-month prison sentence for a charge of possession of cocaine, filed Jan. 12, 2024. He was ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. Trottman is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
In a separate case, Trottman was sentenced to 30 months in prison for a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility. He also received a 12-month sentence for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Both charges were filed Feb. 22, 2024. He was granted 37 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. All three sentences will be served concurrently.
— Alfonso Jenkins, 36, received three years of community control — transferred to Wayne County, Michigan — for two charges; trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, both filed Jan. 25, 2024. Jenkins must pay the MPD crime lab $40 and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Joseph Mitchell, 31, received 30 months of community control — supervision transferred to Sandusky County — for four charges; tampering with evidence, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. Mitchell had three charges dismissed; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, petty theft and obstructing official business. All charges were filed Dec. 21, 2023. Mitchell is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Karli Frizzell, 25, was sentenced to three years of community control for a trafficking in cocaine charge. She had a possession of cocaine charge dismissed. Both charges were filed Jan. 25, 2024. Frizzell also must pay a $750 fine and $40 to the MPD crime lab. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Jeremy Johnson, 43, received a 10-month prison sentence for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed Jan. 25, 2024. He was granted nine days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Brittany Kamann, 32, was sentenced to three consecutive 12-month prison sentences for two charges of assault and an aggravated possession of drugs charge. She was also sentenced to 12 months in prison for a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, to be served concurrently with her other sentences. Charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest were dismissed. Kamann was granted 90 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. Her charges were filed Feb. 22, 2024.
— Aaron Morley, 27, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for an aggravated possession of drugs charge — filed Feb. 22, 2024. He was granted 17 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. Morley was found indigent as to the charge’s mandatory fine.
— Amir Jenkins, 31, received three years of community control — transferred to Jenkins’ home county in Michigan — for three charges; trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and two counts of trafficking in cocaine, all filed Jan. 25, 2024. He had two possession of cocaine charges and a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge dismissed. Jenkins was also ordered to pay four fines; $2,500 on count one, $306.26 and $68.82 in extradition fees and $120 to the MPD crime lab. Jenkins is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Queon Burns, 42, received a 12-month prison sentence, consecutive to one of two 24-month sentences, for a trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound charge. He received two concurrent 24-month prison sentences for two charges of trafficking in heroin. A possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge and trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances charge were merged. Burns was ordered to pay three fines; $40 to MPD’s crime lab and two $5,000 fines. He was granted five days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. Charges were filed Jan. 25, 2024.
— Charles Wilson, 70, received four years of community control for two charges of trafficking in cocaine, both filed Jan. 25, 2024. He had two counts of possession of cocaine dismissed. Wilson was ordered to pay $80 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Carlos Mitchell, 52, was sentenced to four years of community control — transferred to Cuyahoga County — for a charge of having weapons under disability, filed May 7, 2021. He must forfeit his gun to the State of Ohio and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Amare Woods, 20, received three years of community control — transferred to Franklin County — for a charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, with a forfeiture specification, filed Oct. 26, 2023. He must forfeit his firearm to the State of Ohio and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Tyrone Henderson, 21, received three years of community control for a charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, with a forfeiture specification, filed Dec. 21, 2023. A charge of carrying a concealed weapon, with a forfeiture specification, was dismissed. He must forfeit his firearm to the State of Ohio and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Christy Crouse, 61, was sentenced to three years of community control — transferred to Lucas County — for a possession of cocaine charge, filed Sep. 28, 2023. She must also pay $35 to the Ohio State Highway Patrol crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Heather Layne, 44, was sentenced to four years of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed Aug. 28, 2023. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Shawn Sydnor, 33, received three years of community control for two trafficking in cocaine charges, filed Jan. 25, 2024. A possession of cocaine charge was dismissed. He must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Matthew Holbrook, 39, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for a charge of having weapons while under disability, including a forfeiture specification, filed Jan. 12, 2024. A firearm specification was dismissed. He must forfeit his firearm to the State of Ohio. Holbrook was granted 79 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Mazzarney Hardy, 34, received a 12-month prison sentence for a strangulation charge, as well as a concurrent 6-month jail sentence for a domestic violence charge. Hardy was acquitted of an additional strangulation charge. Charges were filed March 21, 2024. Hardy was granted 103 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Scott Schroer, 43, was sentenced to three years in prison, consecutive to a different sentence in a separate case, for an attempted burglary charge, filed March 21, 2024. A menacing charge was dismissed. Schroer was granted 81 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and ordered to one to three years of mandatory post-release control.
In a separate case, Schroer received a consecutive 12-month sentence for a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, including a forfeiture specification, filed May 10, 2024. An illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. Schroer was granted 69 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Jordan Bowman, 22, received two years of community control and a $1,000 fine for a charge of domestic violence, filed March 21, 2024. A strangulation charge was dismissed.
— Leanna Kidwell, 25, was sentenced to two concurrent 24-month prison sentences for two charges of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility. She also received a concurrent 18-month sentence for an aggravated trafficking in drugs charge. Kidwell had nine charges dismissed; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility (two counts), aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs (three counts), possession of drugs and endangering children. She was granted 77 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and ordered to pay the OSHP crime lab $35. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control. Charges were filed Dec. 11, 2023.
— Kayla Schaade, 35, received four years of community control for two charges; possession of cocaine and possession of drugs, filed Dec. 21, 2023. She’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Bruce Lozier, 34, plead no contest to a charge of possession of cocaine — filed March 6, 2024. Lozier was accepted into the Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court, which transferred his case and all further proceedings to the SATC.
— Gary Gerhart, 41, was sentenced to 12 months in prison, concurrent to sentences from three separate cases, for a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, filed Oct. 26, 2023. He was also ordered to pay MPD’s crime lab $40.
In a separate case, Gerhart received two concurrent 12-month sentences from two charges; trafficking in heroin and trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, filed Jan. 25, 2024. He had five charges dismissed; trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, possession of heroin (two counts), possession of a fentanyl-related compound (two counts). He was ordered to pay the MPD crime lab $80.
Additionally, Gerhart was sentenced to six months in prison for a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, filed Feb. 22, 2024. He was ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and was granted 72 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. According to court records, Gerhart has a total sentence of 30 months in prison between four separate cases. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— William Butler, 58, received five years of community control — supervision to be transferred to Cuyahoga County upon successful completion of Community Based Correctional Facility placement — for two charges; theft (two counts) and forgery (two counts), filed July 31, 2023. He was ordered to pay $12,192.94 in restitution to the case’s victim/business and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Melissa Wright, 47, was sentenced to two concurrent 12-month prison sentences for two charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and aggravated possession of drugs, filed April 5, 2024. She was granted 129 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and ordered to pay $40 to MPD’s crime lab. Wright is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Austin Cox, 26, received three years of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed Jan. 25, 2024. Cox was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Telly Gray, 49, was sentenced to a nine-month prison sentence for an escape charge, filed April 5, 2024, and granted 52 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO.
In a separate case, Gray was sentenced to a concurrent nine-month sentence for an escape charge, filed April 5, 2024, and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Tammy Williams, 45, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for an escape charge, filed April 5, 2024. Williams was granted 52 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Dylan Bletz, 23, received two consecutive 12-month prison sentences for two charges of theft from a person in a protected class. He also received eight concurrent 12-month sentences for three counts of theft from a person in a protected class and five counts of forgery. Charges were filed April 18, 2024. Seven counts of theft were dismissed. He was granted 44 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. Bletz was ordered to pay $3,900 in restitution to the case’s victim and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
In a separate case, Bletz received five years of community control — tolled until he’s released from prison — for 12 charges; forgery (six counts) and theft from a person in a protected class (six counts), filed April 18, 2024. — David Bales, 56, was sentenced to two concurrent 12-month prison sentences for two charges; failure to verify address and failure to provide notice of change of address, filed April 18, 2024. Bales’ failure to register charge was merged. He was granted 49 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Zachary Nestler, 33, plead guilty to a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, filed April 5, 2024, and was accepted into diversion — granting Nestler treatment in lieu of conviction.
— Tobi Hamons, 23, was sentenced to three concurrent 12-month prison sentences, consecutive to Hamons’ sentence in a separate case, for three charges; aggravated possession of drugs, possession of heroin and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, filed May 10, 2024. Hamons was granted full jail time credit in a separate case and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Caleb Stewart, 34, plead no contest to an aggravated possession of drugs charge — filed Jan. 25, 2024. Stewart was accepted into the Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court, which transferred his case and all further proceedings to the SATC.
— Abraham Candel, 28, plead no contest to a charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, including a forfeiture specification, filed May 10, 2024. Candel was accepted into the Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court, which transferred his case and all further proceedings to the SATC.
— Jeremy Davis, 42, plead guilty to a charge of counterfeiting, filed Sep. 28, 2023. Davis’ case will remain closed pending successful completion of the Prosecutor’s Diversion Program.

— Shelly Hannah, 49, received four years of community control for a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and two counts of possession of cocaine, filed Feb. 7, 2024. Hannah was ordered to pay $80 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Timothy Sexton, 62, received a 12-month prison sentence for a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, filed Oct. 12, 2023. Sexton must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and was granted 139 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO. He’s subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Cherry Hively, 53, received an 180-day suspended jail sentence for an amended charge of attempt, a first-degree misdemeanor. Hively was originally charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, filed Dec. 21, 2023. Hively was ordered to pay the due costs and fines associated with their case.
— Bobbie Norris, 33, received three years of community control for two charges; possession of a fentanyl-related compound and possession of cocaine, filed Jan. 12, 2024. Norris is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— William Owens, 36, received 30 months of community control — transferred to Ashland County — for a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, filed Dec. 11, 2023. Owens had one possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge dismissed. He must pay $80 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Eugina Smith, 42, received three years of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed April 19, 2023, and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

Smith must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. According to court records, Smith’s probation has been temporarily tolled until they’ve been arrested and made available for supervision.
— William Miller, 42, received 30 months of community control — transferred to Franklin County — for a theft charge, filed Dec. 21, 2023. Miller is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Devin Sutton, 20, was sentenced to three years of community control for a charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, with a forfeiture specification, filed Feb. 22, 2024. Sutton is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Dustin Shook, 37, was sentenced to 30 months of community control for a theft charge, filed Jan. 12, 2024. Shook was ordered to pay $1,013.36 in restitution to the case’s victim/business and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Valentina Edgell, 51, received five years of community control — transferred to Coshocton County — for two charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and aggravated possession of drugs, filed Aug. 28, 2023. Edgell was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and $40 to the MPD crime lab. Edgell is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Patrick Guerin, 21, was sentenced to two years of community control — transferred to Licking County — for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed Feb. 22, 2024. Guerin is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— David Mroczka, 20, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for a charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, filed Jan. 12, 2024. He was granted six days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control. Mroczka’s driver’s license is suspended for 10 years beginning July 24.
— Sarah Davis, 37, received three years of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed March 21, 2024. An illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility charge was dismissed. Davis must pay $40 to MPD’s crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Mark Morgan, 57, received four years of community control for a burglary charge, filed April 5, 2024. Morgan must pay $20 in restitution to the case’s victim and is ordered to one to three years of mandatory post-release control.
— Justin Brownfield, 38, received four years of community control for a possession of cocaine charge, filed Jan. 12, 2024, and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Christopher Chinn, 38, was sentenced to three years of community control for a possession of a fentanyl-related compound charge, filed Dec. 21, 2023. A charge of attempted tampering with evidence was dismissed. Chin must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Isaiah Savage, 19, received 30 months of community control for two charges; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, with a forfeiture specification, and resisting arrest, filed April 5, 2024. A charge of carrying a concealed weapon, including a forfeiture specification, was dismissed. Savage must pay a $250 fine and forfeit a firearm. Savage is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Eric Rickard, 42, received a $1,500 fine for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed Sep. 22, 2022.
— Timmy Murphy, 37, plead no contest to three charges; possession of cocaine (two counts) and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, filed March 21, 2024. Murphy was accepted into the Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court, which transferred his case and all further proceedings to the SATC.
— Jeremy Prelipp, 46, received an 18-month prison sentence for an amended charge of failure to provide change of address. Prelipp’s original charge, filed April 18, 2024, was failure to provide notice of change in vehicle information or identifiers. He was granted 126 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Brian Smith, 38, received three years of community control — transferred to Harrison County — for a charge of theft from a person in a protected class, filed June 9, 2020. Smith must pay $120 in restitution to the case’s victim and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Tiffany Mullett, 34, received a nine-month prison sentence for a charge of possession of cocaine, filed April 5, 2024. Mullett must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab, was granted 15 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Jason Shepherd, 41, received three years of community control for two charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and possession of drugs, filed Feb. 22, 2024. Shepherd is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Angela Luschei, 45, was sentenced to three years of community control for four charges; aggravated possession of drugs, identity fraud, obstructing official business and petty theft, filed Jan. 25, 2024. Luschei is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Larry Reynolds, 62, received a 30-month prison sentence for a strangulation charge, which merged with an additional strangulation charge. Reynolds had two repeat violent offender specifications dismissed. Charges originated May 10, 2024. He was granted 120 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Drake Maynard, 24, was sentenced to eight months in prison for a strangulation charge, filed April 18, 2024. Maynard had a charge of assault dismissed. He was granted 57 days of jail credit for time already served at the RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— David Brettschneider, 33, received three years of community control — to be transferred to his home state and county — for an identity fraud charge, filed April 7, 2022. Brettschneider was ordered to pay for extradition fees and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
— Allen McNeil, 28, received three years of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge, filed April 18, 2024, and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.
