MANSFIELD — City officials will be shaking fair-style lemonade at Prospect Park Friday afternoon.

David Kirst, owner and producer of Rominus James Productions, said he wanted to start this free event to help city residents meet trusted leaders.

“We’ll have Judge Michael Kemerer, Mansfield Police Chief Jason Bammann, Sgt. Patrick Williams and Councilman David Falquette there,” he said.

“It’s all about promoting peace and community involvement. Letting people mingle and know that these are approachable people who want to keep our city safe.”

The event is free and scheduled for noon to 2 p.m. on July 26. Prospect Park is located at 542 Marquis Ave. in Mansfield.

“We’ll also have Ohio Social Sports out doing games and we’ll have some giveaways as well,” Kirst said.

“I’m super excited to get everyone together.”

“An Official Shake Up” is supported by Rominus James Productions, Culligan Water, Wayne’s Country Market, Mansfield Police, City of Mansfield Public Works, Richland County Children Services, Shelly Smith and Son’s Towing, Mansfield University Club, The Goose Drive-Thru, Ohio Social Sports, G&M Body Shop, Legacy Academy, Richland Pregnancy Services, Metronome Music, NAMI Richland County, Two Cousins Pizza, Swavory, Leaning Tower of Pizza, City News/ Suzy’s Smoke Room, HobbyTown and Altitude Trampoline Park.
