Alice M. Albright, 91, resident of Mansfield and former Shelby resident died Friday March 18, 2016 at Brethren Care Village in Ashland.
Born July 19, 1924 in Tiffin, Ohio, to Arden and Catherine (Smith) Schatzinger. She was a Shelby resident the majority of her life. Mrs. Albright was employed with Wickes Lumber Co., retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Mansfield and the Grow and Learn Garden Club.
Alice enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved gardening, reading, sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, doing crafts, traveling and entering projects at the county fair. Most of all Alice loved her family.
Survivors include; one son Charles E. (Ida) Albright, Jr. of Ontario; two daughters Judy (Dave) Jollay, Sherrie (David Bobo) Hartz of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Isaac Albright and Teresa (Steve) Watson; five great-granddaughters; two sisters, Betty Lynch of Dayton and Beverly Brauer of Sandusky, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Albright, Sr. in 1993.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory. Reverend Dennis Nezrick from the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Mansfield will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials expressions may be made to the Samaritan Purse and the American Cancer Society.
