Pamela Kay Jacobs, 66, of Shelby, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 20, 2016 at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital.
She was born May 12, 1949 in Shelby to the late Melvin R. and Doris Jean (Briner) Stough. Pam was a 1967 graduate of Shelby High School.
Throughout her life, Pam worked at several local businesses including Milliron’s, Copperweld and the Rehab Center where she was an executive secretary. Pam was the past Ladies Auxiliary president at both the Shelby American Legion and the Shelby Moose where she was also a life member.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Shelby. She enjoyed talking and visiting with people and taking care of her flower beds and pets.
Pam is survived by her significant other for the past 23 years: Greg Scott, of Shelby; a son: Russell “Rusty” Jacobs, of Shelby; a step granddaughter: Amanda Branham; three step great grandchildren: Wyatt Robinson, EmmaLyn Robinson and KimberLyn Branham; two sisters: Becky and Susan; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: David Stough, and her husband: Ned A. Jacobs.
Friends and family are welcome on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, 168 W. Main St., Shelby where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Brad McBee officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
