MANSFIELD, Ohio — More than 100 area school board members and school administrators were recognized at Mid- Ohio Educational Service Center’s All Boards Appreciation Dinner last week.
Superintendent Linda T. Keller welcomed the record crowd and thanked Board members for their service to the region’s students. Superintendents of Mid-Ohio ESC client districts introduced their guests, including Noreen Mullens, Superintendent of Crestline Exempted Village Schools and Vicki Wheatley, Superintendent of Tiffin City Schools, whose districts joined Mid-Ohio this year.
Keller recognized Mid-Ohio ESC Governing Board members Bill Hope, Linda McFarland and Mary Jean Theaker, who are concluding their service to the Board after many years of service. She introduced newly elected members Marge Prater, Dick Prater and Kyle Swigart.
A group of Mid-Ohio ESC staff members presented a program outlining the extensive Professional Learning services provided to client districts. Each district won a prize in a drawing, which featured Mid-Ohio ESC services and products.
Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, located at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center at 890 W. Fourth St. in Mansfield, provides high quality, cost-effective, specialized academic/ therapy support services and professional development for school districts in the Central Ohio region.
These include offering alternative educational options, preschool education and printing services, as well as conference center facilities.
