MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Renaissance Performing Arts Association has announced two additions to its 2015-2016 performance season.
Newly added shows include country artist Tracy Lawrence, who will perform a concert at the Renaissance Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. PBS Kids’ popular children’s show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live! takes the stage on Tuesday, April 26.
Lawrence is one of the most recognizable voices in country music with songs such as “Paint Me a Birmingham,” “Time Marches On,” “Alibis” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.” The entertainer has enjoyed 22 songs on the Billboard top 10 charts with 18 No. 1 singles, selling over 13 million albums.

In February 2015, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live! was the No. 2 program across all TV networks for children 2 to 5 and with moms of young children. In addition, it continues to be one of the highest-streamed shows, averaging over 40 million streams per month. One million Daniel Tiger books have been published to date, and downloads of the apps, music and episodes continue to rank high on iTunes.
The animated TV series has garnered a host of prestigious awards, and most recently was nominated for a 2015 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program. This recognition follows a string of additional honors, including a 2015 Parents’ Choice Gold Award and 2014 Prix Jeunesse International Selection as well as the 2013 Kidscreen Award for Best Animated Series in the Preschool Category, and 2013 Cynopsis: Kids! Imagination Award for Preschool Series.
