MANSFIELD, Ohio – On July 14th, The Mansfield Police Department Internet Crimes Unit in cooperation with the Mansfield Major Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant at 650 King St. Apt. 6, Mansfield. After a thorough investigation, detectives discovered that obscene material involving a minor was being downloaded at this location. A search warrant was obtained and signed by the Honorable Judge Ardis.
Iann Simmons was arrested for “Pandering Sexual Oriented Matter Involving a Minor.” Further charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’snOffice for review.
The Mansfield Police Department in cooperation with surrounding agencies and communities continue to aggressively pursue crimes involving juveniles as victims.
