Jeffrey Lee Balliett, 52, of Diana, TX and former Galion resident passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 from an extended illness in his home.
He was born January 11, 1963 in Galion and was the son of Bernard P. “Bernie” Balliett and Barbara (Webb) Balliett.
Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Colonel Crawford High School and had lived in Texas for many years.
He is survived by his aunt, Edie Stevens of Galion; his uncle, Clayton Balliett of Reynoldsburg; his nephews, Todd Case, Greg Case and Brian Thoman and his cousin, Kathie Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Balliett and his sister, Judy Case.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Richard Genzman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
