MANSFIELD, Ohio–In addition to an area Flood Warning, the City of Mansfield issued two water notifications this morning. Due to a water main break 5th Avenue will be closed between Vine Street and Grace Street today. Water service will also be shut down in this area.
Also, due to a water main repair, water service will be shut down as of 9 a.m. today for the 1300 block of West Fourth Street. A boil advisory will be issued upon completion of repairs.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland issued a Flood Warning for Ashland and Richland counties until 11:15 a.m. today. Early this morning the weather service said flooding was likely in low-lying, poorly drained areas and along small streams.
