MANSFIELD, Ohio – The Mansfield Playhouse will be holding a summer camp for our area youth, instructed by Candy Boyd and Michael Schoeppner. This will be a three week camp. Children ages 6-9 will meet on Mondays (July 13, 20 and 27) from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. A maximum of 20 children will be accepted into this age group.
Children ages 10-13 will meet on Tuesdays (July 14, 21 and 28) from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. A maximum of 20 children will be accepted into this age group.
Children ages 14-18 will meet on Thursdays (July 16, 23 and 30) from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. A maximum of 20 children will be accepted into this age group.
Week 1 will consist of Theatre Basics, Inflection, Projection and Line Delivery for all age groups.
Week 2 will consist of Character Development for all age groups.
Week 3 will consist of Auditioning Skills for all age groups.
Classes will be $10 per week for those only interested in any certain topic. Classes will be $25 for all three weeks of classes covering all topics.
Registration materials can be picked up at the Mansfield Playhouse at 95 E. 3rd St. Wednesday through Friday from 1 – 6 p.m. Payment is due with registration. Call 419-522-2883.
