CRESTLINE, Ohio – The Crestline Village Council appointed Tina M. Swartz to council during a special council meeting on March 16.

Crestline Village Council President Clayton J. Herold said in an email to press, ” Tina has been a resident of Crestline for many years and holds a master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University.”

Herold noted that Swartz currently holds a position as adult therapist at Appleseed Community Mental Health in Ashland and is the Ashland County Mental Health Officer.

Swartz is also an adjunct professor at Ashland University.

“She has both the desire and dedication to be an asset to Crestline Village Council and I look forward to working alongside her on council,” said Herold.

“The appointment of Tina brings council back to full strength for the first time since early January,” he continued. “Through this process we were able to appoint members who bring different skill sets to our team. It’s important to understand that we did our due diligence in appointing members who can have an immediate impact with a vision to push Crestline forward. Now, collectively our work begins.”
