Following the visits in recent years in Ohio by the team of the Israel leadership Institute (ILI) including church events, training seminars and speaking engagements, this spring will witness new relationships formed between the Israeli leadership school and central Ohio.
The ILI is Israel’s most innovative and advanced leadership school. Based in Sderot, on the Gaza-Israel border, the ILI trains the future leaders of Israel based on Biblical models of leaders, and Zionist and Democratic principles.
Eeki Elner, founder of the ILI, has been invited to be the keynote speaker at the National Day of Prayer (NDP) in Mansfield, May 7. While traditionally kept for a church leader, the invitation as the main speaker marks a new level of relationship between Ohio and the State of Israel.
While in central Ohio, Elner, who’s an expert in leadership development and a leading figure in forming bridges between communities in the USA and Israel, will also be speaking at the Ontario Growth Association, and will give a lecture to a crowd of hundreds at Mansfield Christian School.
Prior to the May events, Elner is visiting Ohio during the last week of March for a series of events at churches aimed at creating a new coalition of church leaders in support of the Jewish State.
On Saturday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m. the Sar Shalom Messianic Congregation at 1650 S. Main Street, Mansfield will be hosting Elner for a “Bless Israel Event.”
The event is open to guests from the area wishing to learn about the current situation in the Middle East and express support in Israel.
